The St Andrews Pilgrim Foundation is a registered charity based in St Andrews, Scotland, aiming to raise funds to preserve and restore the historic core of our town and to reverse the obvious decline of an outstanding international attraction.
Our Honorary President is Sir Michael Bonallack, ex-captain of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club. The trustees are drawn from Fife Council, the local community and the University of St Andrews, represented by the Principal.
An executive working group has been set up to carry out the aims of the Trust and a replica of a medieval badge recently excavated in St Andrews has been chosen as our emblem. This emblem is a recurrent theme on our website.
We are supported by many distinguished patrons who include Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros, Tony Jacklin, Sir Sean Connery, Colin Montgomerie to mention only a few.
