The Pilgrim Foundation is a highly respected community group and well known throughout St Andrews and Fife. After having been there, though, we learned individuals within the Foundation are even better connected than their modesty allows them to say. More than that though, they became our friends.

The Pilgrim Foundation Golf Package experience is the absolute epitome of golf, especially if you have any love for the game. And whether or not you have any knowledge or feeling for the history of golf, the trip is a "can't do without experience of a lifetime."

Then there were the unexpected pleasures; the fantastic accommodation, Scotch Whisky tasting, Doug from the St Andrews Golf Taxi Service - we were given the red carpet treatment.

It was fun to go to our various engagements, announce we were guests of the Pilgrim Foundation and have everyone - EVERYONE drop everything to serve us - frankly we did not expect (or deserve) such attention, but it was gladly provided anyway, like we were royalty (or a step above). Such is the reputation of the Foundation. Life was grand indeed!
